Well this time, I really don't know how to introduce this little piece, all I'll say is, it's my little rebellion to one of the worst practices prevailing in India. I'd like if you would understand this poem without any prior explanation of it's message!
A REVOLUTION
Patiently waiting at the portal of life,
She smiles as warm as the sun,
The evil drapes of ego though,
Suppress her breath before it begun.
That evil grin,
And evading humanity,
That insecure anxiety,
A complete insanity.
Crushes her hopes,
Her desires are thwarted,
Brutally her dreams,
To death are escorted.
How much would have,
Her breath, to you, cost?
That you smashed her,
Rendered her essence lost!
Your heart would disown you,
Had she wailed and cried,
Instead to you, had depicted,
Her misery when she died!
The cold flow of hatred,
That drowned her,
Her loud shrill cry,
When slowly subsided as a murmur.
Those unborn fairies group up,
In the other world,
Planning a master scheme,
Your life it would leave swirled!
Be cautious for when she comes,
With the strength as sharp as swords,
A revolution sown, shall blossom and reap,
Believe cause these aren’t mere words!
