A BOND OF WORDS

In everyone's life there is one person for sure whose emotional presence means a lot more than the physical presence. Whose nature, care and understanding gives faith in life. This small piece is my tribute to that one friend who has always been the support I desired! I'm sure when you read this, the face of that person would flash in front of your eyes with genuine feelings.! So do read ahead and find out that person with whom you share A BOND OF WORDS,

Because

"Feelings play stronger than presence"

A BOND OF WORDS

The time elapsed,
In thoughts and thought,
A deep anxiety,
In fear it caught.

A hand on the shoulder,
A shock or condolence,
The presence around,
Haunting or is love’s essence?

The bounded feeling,
Is security or suffocation?
The same monotony,
A settlement or imprisonment.

I do need thy hand,
That haunts the nights,
Not to be scared,
They drive away my frights.

I need thy presence,
It leads my breath,
I’d be thy prisoner,
Until the day of death!

I feel no cold vibes,
Thy warmth engraves me,
A deep sense of belonging,
A pure ecstasy.

I care about no shock,
Haunting isn’t frightening,
The stars at night twinkle a little brighter,
And melodious is the lightening.

Light of thy protection,
Brightens my existence,
Becomes my guiding light,
With a prolonged persistence.

The time elapsed,
In thoughts and thought,
An eternal ecstasy,
In love it caught!

A DESIRE, TO FEEL LOVED!!

To feel love and be loved is what makes life so beautiful. People's desire to be loved is genuine and creates a sense of belonging. A small piece I wrote that displays a genuine desire to be loved and a little lesson everyone needs to remember that no matter how accurate your life may be, but no body is perfect, its only the feeling that is perfectly felt and transmitted!

A DESIRE, TO FEEL LOVED

“Things and situations”,
Never the same they are.
Cause fantasy from reality,
Is really really far!

Why can’t things just be,
The way I want?
The hidden reality,
Seems a sarcastic taunt!

Those hidden tears,
Those weary eyes,
A hug is all I ask for,
But none is there who tries.

Tries, to comfort,
To find out the true feeling,
Those fake smiles and,
The pain they are dealing!

It seems to be easy,
To say “let it be”,
How painful a heart break is,
Will you try and ask me?

No you won’t,
Cause you don’t know,
How hard I find,
To bear the blow!

The blow, that hits hard,
The blow, that throws away,
The you inside that fake,
That you conceal everyday!

Come on make up your mind,
Take a stand to express,
Just try to say it once,
Don’t take too much stress.

Who will support,
And what they’ll say,
Isn’t your bother,
Keep it at bay!

With a real smile,
A real one I say,
I’ll try to live through,
And believe through my day,

A lesson I got,
That I ain’t perfect too,
Now you get a lesson,
That so aren’t you!

WHO AM I?

Today the most  important part of living a life worth remembering is to realize  "who you are", because once you know the answer all other riddles appear to be solved with great ease.!!!

WHO AM I?

A dilemma, a mystery,
An uncertainty prevails,
The cold gripping my soul,
The snow, ice and hails!

Too many thoughts I have,
And so many future desires,
But my heart, a confused wreck,
And a perfect goal it aspires!

What defines me,
And who am I?
Questions unanswered,
Nor do I try.

Following the crowd,
Isn’t what I dream for,
But being a sweet amongst the sour,
Needs great belief and power.

I lack both of these,
No quality is special in me,
Still to be a difference,
Gives some meaning to be.

To be in a world,
Where millions breathe and die,
Each passing second a new,
Life and dream is born with a cry.

Oh! Lord we cried when we came,
Became a part of this world,
Oh! Shall we cry,
When we hail away from this earth?

Who am I?
And why do I breathe?
There must a meaning to me,
And to all my life indeed!

To find it I live,
To accomplish what I dream,
The sea is the ultimate goal,
Of the lovely flowing stream.

What defines me,
And who am I?
Questions unanswered,
But at least I try!

DIRT OR CLEANLINESS!!? THE CHOICE IS OURS!

Usually we talk of clean environment and surroundings and what not. I too wrote about this for various competitions, but it wasn't until I wrote this one poem when I realized that this topic is really a cause of concern for the society!!

I HATE CLUTTER, I HATE DIRT!

Imagine, you wake one morning,
And filth is all you find,
The pathetic odour all around,
Walks through your nose to mind!

You walk out to the streets,
To breathe some fresh air,
And filth and dirt and clutter,
Is all you find there.

Oops! You step on a banana peel,
The shock wakes your head,
You find two people cleaning,
No, talking instead!

“Swachta abhyan, what’s that?”
“Oh! What a waste of time!”
“Making laws on cleanliness,
Is throwing a paper, too, a crime?”

Back home sitting on a chair,
You think of dirt and tidiness!
Oh! Unhygienic is our town,
And at loss of clean liveliness.

That’s when you realize,
Why Gandhi said those words,
Cleanliness and godliness,
Had some sudden sense of worth.

Picking a broom you begin,
Sweeping in and out,
And clean every bit of dirt,
Leaving no corner of doubt!

Imagine each day waking up,
To the merry birds’ chirping,
And inhaling a sweet flower instead,
Of the waste that’s lurking.

I hate clutter, I hate dirt,
Install this app in each human mind.
Because above those pretty gadgets,
A planet calling concern they’ll find!

Offer a hand to help it,
Help yourself I better say,
Make your town, city and state cleaner,
And cleaner each passing day!
